Bhutan
is a small, landlocked country nestled in the Eastern Himalayas, bordered by
China to the north and India to the south, east, and west. Known for its
stunning landscapes, Bhutan is often referred to as the "Land of the
Thunder Dragon." The country is characterized by steep mountains, deep
valleys, and dense forests.
Day 1: Arrived Paro and transfer to Thimphu.
On arrived at Paro airport, you will meet by our representative after completing airport formulates. Drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, along winding highway passing through interesting traditional houses surrounded by paddy field, Temples and also you can see lots of farm shops on the way with the organic fruits and vegetable. In evening, we will visit Tashichhodzong, the beautiful medieval fortress/monastery that houses some government office and His Majesty the King’s Throne Room. It is also the summer residenceof the monastic body and the chief Abbot of the Monistic. Overnight at the hotel in Thimphu.
Day 2: Thimphu–Paro (55Km 2-hour drive).
Morning visit the largest
sitting Buddha located at hill side of Kuenselphodrang, Nature Park overlooking the southern
entrance to the Thimphu valley. The statue fulfils an ancient prophecy dating back to
the 8th century AD that was discover by Terton Pema Lingpa (Religious Treasure Discoverer) and
is said to emanate an aura of Peace and happiness to the entire world.This massive statue of Shakyamoni is 51.5m tall, making it one of the largest sitting statues in the world. The throne that the Buddha Dordenma aits upon is large meditation hill. Visit the National Memorial Chorten. World peace and prosperity. Completed in 1974 after his untimely death, it serves both as a memorial to the late King and as a monument to peace. Now it is become a one of the vibrant centre of spiritual practice and religious events place. Visit Royal Textile Academy Museum and Folk Heritage Museum and Bhutanese traditional leaving and drive to Paro visit Ta Dzong (watchtower), and build for defend Rinpong Dzong during the inter valley ware of 17th century and later it was inaugurated as a Bhutan’s National Museum in 1986 and on the way visit Rinpung Dzong. If your timing is accessible you may visit Drugyal Dzong which is 14km away from the Paro town. Overnight hotel at Paro.
Day 3: Depart Paro.
After breakfast, transfer to airport for final departure.
